The Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Demand Planner to join our Operations department on a 12-month contract. The Demand Planner will play a crucial role in forecasting, planning, and managing NEOM inventory levels to ensure optimal product availability while minimizing excess stock and associated costs. This position is based out of our London office.
Reporting to the Operation Director, the Demand Planner will be an integral part of the NEOM team working in collaboration with internal stakeholders to dimension the business forecast over a 24-month horizon whilst being a pivotal player in NEOM’s business planning process. The role will develop and optimize ways of working, delivering forecast accuracy and BIAS targets through the development of robust demand forecasts. The demand planner will manage the meeting process framework to ensure forecasts are constructively challenged to drive consensus and accuracy whilst ensuring strong relationships with all key stakeholders.
What You Will Do
Ensure all Demand Forecasting and S&OP activities are completed for all NEOM Wellbeing products.
Collaborate with the Commercial and Marketing teams to evaluate factors that will influence demand.
Subsequently develop an unbiased and unconstrained forecast over a 24-month horizon within IBP.
Own the consolidation of all channel forecasts and translate to presentation format in volume and value.
Deliver forecast accuracy & BIAS targets.
Support supply planning to deliver on time and in full dispatch to customers at optimal inventory levels through confidence in the plan and by ensuring key forecast decisions are made with the appropriate amount of lead time to ensure successful execution.
Maintain IBP master data and drive improved ways of working within the system.
Own and present demand consensus clearly identifying the gap between demand and financial forecasts along with aligned Risk and Opportunities.
Execute the S&OP process by producing, interpreting, and drawing conclusions from data and subsequently coordinating all actions.
Ensure execution of detailed schedule of activities within the S&OP cycle.
Lead the continuing development of the S&OP process ensuring all stakeholders understand their role and responsibilities within the process.
Key player in the SLOB process to feed into the S&OP Process.
What We Are Looking For
Minimum 3 years of experience in a Demand Planner or similar position
Comfortable with pressure in a demanding and dynamic environment
Excellent prioritization & organizational skills
Ability to translate complex data into a simple solution- clear recommendations and action plan with an analytical mindset.
Ability to work within deadlines/under pressure, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, as well as balance business needs versus constraints
High level of computer literacy (particularly Excel and S&OP in the cloud)
FMCG commercial understanding and attitude / approach
High energy, willingness to learn and the desire to get stuck in
Team focused with a can-do attitude and a positive, growth mindset
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail & excellent communicator
