Position: Demand Planning ManagerLocation: Kent, EnglandPackage: £45K/yrThis is a great opportunity for a Demand Planning Manager to join an established food manufacturer in Kent. This is a newly created role due to the company’s continued growth and will take control of their demand planning function.You’ll be responsible for proposing & implementing solutions to improve forecast accuracy by analysing historical data, market trends, customer information & commercial insights. Build both Long term and short term forecasts to ensure product availabilityResponsibilities Responsible for the Supply Planner & Supply Chain administratorTake the lead on forecasting in conjunction with the Commercial Team. Hold regular reviews & analyse data accordinglyInterface with customer planning functions to obtain data to assist with building forecasts and relationships.Ensure compliance in line with HMRC regulations for all Supply Chain transactionsUse Budget/Forecast data to regularly review site capacityBuild & maintain a 12 month rolling forecastHelp drive continuous improvement both within the Supply Chain Team & wider businessGood understanding of the S&OP processManage obsolete & slow moving stock to mitigate potential write offs Experience Proven experience in Demand Planning role ideally food/drink/fmcgStrong understanding of end to end Supply ChainExcellent Customer Service skills and the ability to build strong internal & external relationshipsGood Commercial & Finance understandingHighly proficient in ExcelExperience of Managing or supervising a small team
