Location: SE London

Salary: £35k per annum

The Venue: A large historical building based in SE London hosting a range of events from filming, corporate events and weddings

As the Deputy Event Operations Manager you will play a crucial role in the seamless execution of events including weddings and filming at the venue. This position requires someone super passionate about events with meticulous attention to detail. You will be very client facing and therefore a positive and 'can-do' attitude is really important! This is a stunning space and a great venue to work for with an excellent benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of event planning and execution, including but not limited to logistics, supplier management, kit orders, event management and staffing.
  • Assist the Event Operations Manager with client liaison on the event day, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met throughout the event.
  • Assist and monitor event staff on the day of events
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with external suppliers and the in-house catering teams

About you:

  • Experience in managing weddings is a must as this is a frequent event at the venue
  • You will need to be able to drive
  • Proven experience in event operations management, preferably in a historical or heritage venue.
