Job Description
I am working with London based NHS organisation to find a strong Band 7 Deputy Finance Business Partner to support the Finance Business Partner and budget holders in preparing and submitting a monthly Management Accounts Pack to the Finance Business Partner and to budget holders.
You will design, produce and maintain budget reports and other spreadsheet based reports and models in accordance with agreed timetables and departmental policies and procedures.
Another part of the role is that you will draft the commentary to accompany monthly management accounts and prepare monthly variance reports for specific departments within a Directorate.
A key element of the role will be the Investigation of any variances from the plan and identifying causes and offering options for resolution.You will meet regularly with budget holders and provide information and analysis to them regarding their budgets.
You will act as a principal contact for key clients, probe business decisions, verify reports that are drawn up by non-financial staff for compatibility with financial information.
Excellent communication skills are essential in this role as you will need to advise budget holders on possible areas of expenditure reduction.

Previous NHS experience is desirable.
