Deputy Nursery Manager

Location: Hyde, Greater Manchester

Salary: £31k - £34k + Excellent Benefits

Full-Time, 38 hours per week

The Client:
Our client is a reputable childcare nursery, delivering quality care and exceptional experiences for children aged 12 weeks to 5 years.

The Role:
As a Deputy Manager, you will collaborate with the Manager and take on oversight of the nursery in their absence.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure all teams provide age-appropriate, stimulating experiences, environments, and resources for children.
2. Maintain the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor always.
3. Lead and support your teams, addressing their training needs to uphold best practices.
4. Guarantee compliance with the statutory framework for the EYFS Curriculum and Ofsted standards.

Requirements:

1. Previously worked as a Deputy Manager or in a similar role.
2. At least 4 years of experience working in a nursery setting with 2 years in a leadership role.
3. Qualified at level 3 or above.
4. Ability to support and guide the teams in the rooms.
5. Strong leadership and team-building skills.
