Salary: Up to 50k
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to design parts and assemblies according to their specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings to generate manufacturing instructions.
- Create replacement parts from damaged or worn items.
- Conduct occasional on-site visits for design data collection.
- Produce 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, and Bill-of-Materials.
- Utilize ISO 9001 system for document control.
- Prepare customer quotations and maintain relationships.
- Coordinate with office and workshop teams for project completion.
Location & Commitment:
- Full-time position in Dumfries and Galloway
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
- Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required.
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualifications in Design, preferably in mechanical or agricultural fields.
- Confident in the use of Solidworks
- General understanding of Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel & Word)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in interpreting technical drawings.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Practical hands-on experience is advantageous.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
