As a Design Engineer (Aircraft Interior) , you will join our team in Cwmbran, to support our activities within the Aerospace sector. Your main responsibilities will be: Develop and refine detailed models of various aircraft seating components to meet specific programme requirements. Utilize CAD software to create accurate and precise designs for seating elements. Conduct analyses to ensure optimal balance between performance, cost, and weight for seating components. Analyse validation results, identify potential issues, and implement design improvements to ensure product reliability and safety. Ensure material and process choices meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements for aircraft seating. Ensure all design elements comply with relevant aerospace industry standards and regulations. Participate in product validation activities, including prototyping, testing, and conducting Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA). Who are we looking for? An autonomous engineer with experience in either; Aircraft interior design, Yacht interior design or bespoke customised interior components. A team player, being able to manage and work with various stakeholders and departments. You are... Passionate about engineering result-oriented proactive Qualifications Experience, skills and qualifications required: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or related Engineering disciplines. Experience in cabin interiors, seats systems is preferrable. Prior application of CAD tools such as Catia V5 or similar. Eligible to obtain Baseline Personnel Security Standard clearance (BPSS). Previous experience within VIP or Private Jet interiors is ideal but not mandatory. Additional Information Why join us?
