Job ref: BBBH_ Published: about hours ago Startdate: // Are you a Design Manager looking to broaden your horizons and join a contractor who work on unique and interesting civil engineering projects?Are you looking for a role that supports hybrid working as opposed to days a week in the office? A well respected civil engineering contractor have a vacancy for a Design Manager to be based out of their office in the North West. They are a civil engineering contractor who are proven within the industry, with a number of project across the board stretching across the country, they are seeking an individual with a managerial background to look after the design team on a range of different projects. Your duties and responsibilities:Managing designs at the preconstruction and construction stage of projects.Producing and reviewing design programmes and design scopes. Attending and presenting at meetings with all stakeholders.Ensuring that design and the technical requirements are compliant to the legislation. Ensuring sustainability requirements are embedded within the designCoordinating the design team.Liaising with the wider project team to ensure construction adheres to design.The ideal candidate will have:A degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent qualification)A full UK driving license Ability to show experience gained in a similar role (ideally major projects / tier experience)Mobility to travel around the country when required (lodge will be covered if needed) If you feel this opportunity is a good fit then do not hesitate to apply now!Aldwych Consulting values diversity and promotes equality.
