PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE SITS WITHIN IR35PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE SITS WITHIN IR35 Desktop Support Analyst/2nd Line Support Analyst A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Desktop Support Analyst/2nd Line Support Analyst to join our London based law firm on an initial 6 month contract basis. Desktop Support Analyst/2nd Line Support Analyst Summary: The Desktop Support Analyst/2nd Line Support Analyst will be client-focused, skilled in professional communication, and able to collaborate with Technology managers, colleagues, clients, lawyers, and other business services teams. Desktop Support Analyst/2nd Line Support Analyst Key Responsibilities: o Providing second level/floor support for escalated incidents, configuring and maintaining PCs and other IT equipment, and managing inventory records and devices. o Visiting users and clients to fix calls, providing on the spot training or floor walking where necessary. o Maintaining equipment readiness and ensuring all devices, particularly computers, have current security patches installed for presentations. Technology Support Analyst / 2nd Line Support Analyst Attributes/Skills: o Hands-on experience in desk-side troubleshooting and application support for various software, including MS Word, Interwoven, MS Outlook, Intapp Time, MS Excel/MS PowerPoint, Citrix/Duo/MS Authenticator. o Exposure or experience with database applications, administrative knowledge of Microsoft back-office products, Networking Directory Services (Microsoft ADS, LDAP), TCP/IP DHCP, DNS. o Familiarity with WebEx and AV support, including Cisco AV Systems, is preferred.
