MacGregor Black are partnering with Luxury Consumer brand on the search for a Sanity CMS Developer. This is a permanent role based in Manchester.
As a Sanity Developer, you will report directly to the Director of Web Development and play a pivotal role in content management and deployment across digital platforms. Your expertise in headless CMS, particularly Sanity, will drive the development of dynamic web applications that maintain high standards of design and functionality consistent with luxury consumer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and maintain our client’s digital content infrastructure using Sanity.io as the headless CMS.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure that the website's interface is visually appealing and aligned with brand standards.
- Implement responsive web design principles to ensure that our client’s website is accessible across all devices.
- Utilize JavaScript and React to build scalable and efficient web applications.
- Oversee the integration of third-party services like e-commerce platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools through API connections.
- Conduct technical SEO audits and optimize the site structure for maximum visibility and ranking.
- Train non-technical team members on managing the content effectively using the Sanity platform.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and version control for all digital assets and codebases.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience as a Sanity Developer or similar role in web development with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
- Expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly React, and familiarity with Node.js.
- Strong understanding of API development, web architecture, and the principles of headless CMS.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and functional digital environments.
- A creative problem-solver who can work under pressure and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, luxury business setting.
- Preferred: Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and a keen eye for aesthetic detail that aligns with luxury branding.
