Role: DevOps Developer
Sector: Automotive
Duration: 6 Months
Our client a leading consultancy is looking for a DevOps Developer responsible for the client side of service. Roles primary focus will be as per below.
Key Responsibilities:
Expert level development experience in Python or equivalent (eg. Java) + very strong SQL skills
Use of modern CI/CD tools & techniques, including significant previous experience of working with at least one major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, Azure)
Experience working with containers & orchestration frameworks (Docker, Kubernetes) as well as source code management and version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab)
Previous hands-on experience working with and developing/maintaining & managing data pipelines (in particular using Apache Airflow)
Experience of creating & implementing tests and using automated testing frameworks, including unit & integration testing, data quality testing & assumption testing.

Previous experience of Infrastructure As Code (e.g. Terraform & Ansible) & command line
Experience in operational monitoring and dashboarding for applications (eg. ELK, SonarQube, Prometheus, Grafana)
Previous involvement in all stages of the software delivery lifecycle
Excellent verbal and written communication skills + ability to work closely with engineers in cross functional teams
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to communicate complex data or technical concepts to non-technical internal clients
Proven ability to lead small teams in technical assignments.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Previous experience of architecting small to medium-sized data products and data pipelining
Previous experience of delivering projects within Agile or Scrum framework
Training and mentoring of immediate team members and colleagues in the wider business
