We are seeking a motivated, highly driven engineer to join our future platforms team who are responsible for the deployment and management of our infrastructure and applications, as well as the development of proactive projects that drive developer and customer enablement.
What you'll do:
- Design, deploy and maintain Kubernetes and VM infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software applications.
- Automate the deployment, scaling and management of containerised applications.
- Develop and implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure high availability and performance of our systems.
- Troubleshoot issues with the infrastructure and applications across all our environments.
- Implement security best practices for the infrastructure and applications.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure successful delivery of software applications.
- Continuously improve our DevOps culture, processes and tools.
What you'll bring:
- At least 3 years experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering or relates roles.
- Strong Linux skills.
- Strong scripting skills using languages such as Python, Go or Bash.
- A self-motivated, team first mentality who isn't afraid to disrupt the status quo, ask questions or instigate change for the better.
- A desire to automate all the boring stuff, reduce "Ops toil" and innovate.
- (Nice to have) Experience with Kubernetes and/or Cloud Computing technologies such as AWS or GCP.
- (Nice to have) Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- (Nice to have) Experience with observability tooling such as the ELK stack, Prometheus and Grafana.
