DV Cleared DevOps/Cloud Engineer (AWS) - Cheltenham

The Role:-
- Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure, ensuring scalability, availability, and security.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and overall system performance
- Stay updated on the latest AWS services and industry best practices, incorporating them into the existing infrastructure.
Your Knowledge & Experience:-
- Solid understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and others.
- Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation.
- Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and tools like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Puppet).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and associated tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform).
- Familiarity with serverless architecture and event-driven computing.
- Knowledge of networking principles in AWS.
Due to the nature of the work you must have a current DV clearance in place.
