DevOps Engineer - Trading
London, 3 days onsite, 2 days WFH
£65,000 - £85,000
Harrington Starr are delighted to have partnered with a leading market maker on their new hire into the development team. This team is responsible for designing and implementing proprietary trading algorithms, pricing models, user interfaces, and exchange connectivity for major derivatives venues.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with traders, hardware, and support teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage CI/CD pipelines, currently overseen by the development team.
- Enhance build speeds in CI pipelines.
- Distribute and schedule build loads globally.
- Simplify deployment automation.
- Create tooling to support development processes.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience with build and deployment automation tools, ideally Gitlab and Jenkins.
- Pragmatic, problem-solving mindset.
- Deep understanding of agile workflows.
- Proficient in Linux, bash, and Python.
