Our dynamic and high-performing communications team leads media and digital activity for the organisation, in order to inspire public and specialist audiences to support more responsible investment. The team is also responsible for shaping ShareAction’s brand, raising its profile and increasing its engagement and influence. Our digital colleagues deliver compelling communications for all our main audiences across a variety of platforms including our website, social media and email, as well as overseeing the production and design of ShareAction publications and interactive online reports. Position We’re looking for a digital communications all-rounder with exceptional writing skills and creative flair. This is an exciting time to join a fast-growing team to help drive real impact at the heart of the global economy. You’ll be a key member of the team, leading on digital communications activity for a variety of campaigns, from engaging the public to managing the production and promotion of our flagship research. We’re looking for a great communicator with experience of running successful digital campaigns, who is passionate about our mission to harness the power of investment to build a better world. What you’ll do Design and deliver digital activity, campaigns and creative content to influence and engage our specialist and public audience. Help oversee the production and design of ShareAction’s publications, such as original research and investor briefings, for example by advising colleagues on timelines, liaising with freelance designers, and helping ShareAction develop more interactive digital publications. Help maintain the ShareAction website, using digital writing techniques and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) best practice to drive engagement and conversions. Help develop key messages for our campaigns, translating our work for non-specialist audiences. Help shape the organisation’s social media strategy - including paid advertising – and work with the Digital Officer to create content to drive cut-through for ShareAction’s messages, grow its supporter base and boost engagement with target audiences. Practice our values of independence, courage, persistence, respect, and inclusivity. Keep up with the latest digital trends to help ShareAction stay relevant and innovate. Requirements Essential experience Outstanding writing skills, with a flair for breaking down complex issues to produce compelling and accessible campaign content Experience of managing social media channels, recommending strategies to boost engagement and conversion, and reporting on key metrics Experience using content management systems Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to project manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal skills Knowledge of data protection regulations/GDPR It would be great – not essential – if you have experience of: using Adobe Photoshop and/or InDesign developing creative content for social media, such as graphics and videos running and analysing social media ad campaigns managing supporter email lists using Google Analytics campaigning for a social or environmental cause digital fundraising What we will do for you Working with ShareAction will offer you the opportunity to achieve significant personal impact in one of the most respected and exciting organisations in the responsible investment space.
