What you'll be doing
As the second line escalation point for all IT support queries, the Hub Support Engineer will work with the frontline operational Field team users to maintain and monitor IT systems including remote working solutions and understand and resolve technical issues in a prompt and professional manner.
They will support Hardware incidents with first time fix, swap outs and setup support, within this role you will travel to various Thames Water key sites between Oxford, Reading and Swindon with potential travel to the Deephams, Brixton and Epsom areas at times to provide cover where required. A full clean driving licence is a must, a company vehicle with fuel allowance card will be provided.
What you should bring to the role

  • Educational Requirements - GCSE/A Levels/Degree
  • Prior experience within a first or second-line technical product or service focused support role.
  • Ability to problem solve within a technical environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong customer service approach and team player.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in dynamic work environment
  • Service Now knowledge a bonus but not essential
What you'll be doing
  1. Provide a fast and efficient service onsite for our Field Engineers
  2. Provide New Starter/Movers IT Inductions if required
  3. Work closely with all areas of the User Services Management Team, providing training and support.
  4. End User Services - Support Device Lifecycle, End User software lifecycle
  5. Assist with Digital Drop In Clinics if required
  6. Engage with Digital User Champions to provide a shift left approach
