Job Description

As a Digital Junior Account Executive you will be responsible for undertaking account administration critical to all client and digital team projects as well as playing an active role in the broader smooth running of our digital and social accounts.

You will be dedicated to learning about the world of digital and social healthcare communications that GCI Health offers. This will include your own research, reading, on-the-job training, as well as attending training sessions provided by the company.

You will support the team with day-to-day activities and projects, participating in digital communications (social listening, influencer research and community management), content development, coordination and execution (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X and TikTok), and measurement and analytics activities. An important part of this role involves immersing yourself in social and digital media, which requires research to arrive at key updates and insights that can be creatively expressed across multiple channels. You’ll help us ensure that audiences experience our clients’ brands consistently, at all touchpoints, to drive the greatest impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital and Social Media

You will develop and expand your understanding of the digital and social media landscape and the role of digital media in healthcare communications. You will strive to learn about social media tools and trends and how to utilise them for superior client service.

Activity and Project Management

You will manage projects and shorter-term activities from beginning to end, with the support of your senior team as appropriate. You will work to meet deadlines, proactively report to your teams regularly (and unprompted) and effectively manage suppliers to deliver projects and other outputs according to your clients’ objectives.

Knowledge Building and Personal Development

You will quickly build and maintain a current and comprehensive understanding of the healthcare industry, current affairs, client organisations, their market sectors and GCI Health UK’s business objectives. You will also undertake the training available to you within the company and WPP network.

Content Development

You will upskill yourself to demonstrate proficiency in copywriting and content development for social and digital audiences. You will work closely with account teams, design and paid social media leads for the development of social media content. Adapting these skills for both healthcare professional and other audiences.

Research and Analysis

You will develop effective research and analysis skills, ensuring that new business pitches, proposals, client projects and campaign reports are comprehensively supported.

Financial Reporting

You will demonstrate comprehensive, accurate and timely timesheet entries, ensuring that all client activity is professionally recorded by the end of each week

Team Player

You will consistently demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude and demonstrate flexibility and willingness to contribute and go above and beyond for the team.

The base salary for this position at the time of the posting is £25,000 annually, plus benefits. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility, and qualifications.
