Digital Marketing Executive  

- Full time, salary based on previous experience 

- Based in central Edinburgh office (hybrid working week - 2 office days) 

- Reporting to Head of Sales & Marketing

This is a hugely exciting opportunity for a digital marketeer to help grow brand awareness and sales on busyb.co.uk. We are looking for a highly organised and proactive individual to join our friendly and talented team and play a key role in shaping the development of the brand online. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Ecommerce 

- Develop and execute the digital marketing plan across all channels to deliver company objectives and targets, scheduling content creation in advance 

- Create and drive website development projects, working with external agency as required 

- Update and improve Busy B’s consumer and trade websites, merchandising pages to maximise sales performance 

- Support and deliver website sales and digital marketing targets 

- Leads on errors identified on site and works with external agency to resolve, escalating where required 

- Create and analyse performance data and complete weekly tracking reports against agreed KPIs 

- Input into consumer acquisition plan and support our digital marketing activity including SEO, paid ads, email, working with external resources as required 

- Work closely with the external warehouse, updating on all website / product promotional plans 

- Responsible for all updates to the consumer and trade Magento websites, ebay and new marketplaces as required including uploading all new season products and updating stock 

- Create promotional offers in Magento and ensure T&C’s are accurate to enhance profitability 

 

CRM 

- Lead our CRM and email marketing initiatives, including weekly newsletters and email automation journeys, ensuring a focus on device and best practice 

- Look for opportunities to cleanse the data and add to our growing database 

- Testing email layouts 

 

Digital Marketing  

- Plan the monthly performance marketing budget, in line with ROAS objectives and return 

- Manage our Influencer and PR Outreach, building relationships where possible 

- Work with the paid media expert 

- Implement the SEO plan/content 

 

Shared Digital Tasks 

- Customer service across social and inbox 

- Assist with market and product research when required 

- General administrative in support of customer service peaks/digital workload is lighter; telephone answering, post, recycling, stationery etc. 

 

Required Skills & Experience: 

- 2+ years’ experience working in digital marketing 

- Proficient in using an eCommerce CMS system like Magento, Wordpress, Shopify or similar 

- Experience using Analytics & trends to spot areas for website improvement and opportunities for sales growth 

- Experience using email marketing platforms like Klaviyo 

- Experience tracking and reporting sales figures and working to a target 

- Strong understanding of eCommerce lifecycle and working in a fast paced environment 

- Experience and broad understanding of SEO principles
