Job Description

As a Digital Marketing Lead (Growth Team) at CTI Digital, you will lead the strategic planning and execution of a range of digital marketing services (SEO, PPC, Social, Influencer, Email) working with the specialists in those teams to deliver the work.

You’ll ensure the team of digital marketing specialists who comprise the Growth team understand our clients’ objectives, we have solid strategy to achieve the objectives and we have translated the strategy into an actionable plan. You will then oversee the delivery of that plan, ensuring the work is exceptional, we’re hitting our KPIs and the client’s expectations are being met or exceeded.

You will cultivate strong relationships with both clients and colleagues, driving the client’s growth through the delivery of exceptional digital marketing services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure clients' needs, business goals and objectives are understood

  • Lead the communication and collaboration between the client and the digital marketing team as the primary point of contact

  • Lead the execution of digital marketing campaigns across various channels

  • Take ownership of the creation of comprehensive and clear briefs for internal teams, detailing project objectives, KPIs, and requirements

  • Ensure realistic project and campaign goals are formulated and agreed upon

  • Ensure campaigns are executed within established timelines and budget constraints

  • Analyse and report campaign performance metrics, identify areas for improvement and proactively recommend data-driven optimisations to enhance campaign effectiveness

  • Strategically distribute budgets across diverse digital marketing channels, ensuring optimal utilisation to achieve maximum ROI

  • Conduct research and analysis to gain a comprehensive understanding of the client’s industry landscape and current performance

  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key clients

  • Independently develop and present digital marketing strategies and proposals aligned with client objectives

  • Provide clients with regular updates on budget utilisation, showcasing your ability to manage financial aspects with precision and transparency

  • Address client concerns, showcasing a proactive approach to problem-solving

  • Demonstrate the ability to independently assess situations, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions

  • Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and changes in digital marketing platforms

  • Make sure the team and clients are aware of industry changes relevant to their projects

Essential

  • Solid understanding of the digital marketing landscape

  • 4+ years experience in a digital marketing role in a digital agency environment

  • Ability to develop digital marketing strategies and think strategically about how to achieve a growth objective and how to carve up a budget accordingly

  • Impeccable communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to independently manage digital marketing projects

  • Knowledge of social, paid, SEO, email and how they should work together to grow a business

  • Demonstrable experience in delivering excellent customer or client services

  • Reporting expertise using Analytics data

Ideal

  • Experience of project management systems like Jira

  • Experience of working with senior stakeholders on the client’s side

Location:Our head office is Manchester city centre (Ancoats) - we adopt a hybrid working model (2 days in the office per week)

Salary:£38k - £44k
