Digital Marketing Manager - Sporting Goods

MacGregor Black is collaborating with a Renowned International Sporting Goods company in the search for a Digital Marketing Manager. This is a full-time, permanent role based in London.


As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will report to the Global Head of Online Marketing and oversee paid media operations, including Search Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, Display Advertising, and YouTube. You will work closely with both internal teams and external partners to fine-tune campaigns to achieve key media goals, such as increasing conversions, acquiring new customers, boosting revenue, and activating CRM initiatives.


Key Responsibilities


  • Design and execute multi-channel digital marketing strategies and activation plans with the internal acquisition team.
  • Ensure that all activities align with key performance indicators (KPIs) such as new customer acquisition (NCA), return on ad spend (ROAS), cost of sale (CoS), customer acquisition cost (CAC), traffic, and brand awareness.
  • Set objectives, manage budgets, and report on strategy and performance to stakeholders at HQ and within regional clusters.
  • Implement and manage data visualization within channels.
  • Oversee search marketing efforts with an external agency, managing day-to-day campaign setup and optimization.
  • Handle Affiliate Marketing partnerships through Impact Radius, including setting commission levels, approving new partners, and managing monthly commissions.
  • Identify and implement marketing technologies to enhance performance marketing efforts, including feed management, audience syndication, multi-touch attribution (MTA), and tracking and visualization tools.
  • Collaborate on creating and conceptualizing content for performance marketing channels.
  • Use data and customer insights to discover new growth opportunities.
  • Provide SEO insights and support the business with best practices.


What are we looking for?


  • 2-3 years of experience in performance marketing, including daily campaign setup, optimization, budget management, and bid strategy.
  • Proven track record in running successful PPC campaigns within Google (and Bing).
  • Strong knowledge of Google’s marketing technology ecosystem, including Google Ad Manager, MCC, DV360, GTM, GA, etc.
  • Solid experience with web analytics tools.
  • Experience with affiliate management platforms such as Impact Radius.
  • A good understanding of SEO best practices.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to create new processes where necessary.
  • BSc/BA in a technical, business, or marketing-related field.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
