Job Description

We are currently seeking a Digital Marketing Manager based in the UK to add to our lead generation team!

About Outpost24

Outpost24 is a leading cybersecurity vendor in Europe that helps CISOs and security teams identify what threats matters most. Founded in 2001, we are headquartered in Sweden and the US, with additional offices in the UK, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, France, and Spain.

About the Marketing team

We are a team of 4 and sits within the larger marketing team including product marketing, content, and marketing ops colleagues. Our task is to use digital marketing tactics to drive high quality traffic and conversions on the Outpost24 website.

What we are looking for

You are a skilled digital marketer with a passion for data. You enjoy digging into the “why” of campaign performance and optimizing your efforts to increase your metrics. You know your baseline performance benchmarks and the best way to deploy your budget.

You take initiative. Your brain lights up from spinning out new ideas for marketing campaigns or new conversation paths for Sales. You are the driver behind your best ideas - bringing every party across departments you need together to make it come to life.

You are ready to collaborate. Both with your internal marketing team of experts in their respective fields and with Sales leadership who will rely on you to build a pipeline in conjunction with Sales that delivers on company-wide targets.

You are number savvy—ready to thoughtfully and intentionally set and spend budgets to achieve your marketing KPIs. You are fastidious about tracking your data, both to keep track of your regional spend and your performance metrics.

You are an excellent writer. You proactively reject the use of jargon and instead seek out the language of your target’s voice – whether that’s an internal stakeholder or an external customer.

You might not be a good fit if

You likely won’t be a good fit if you are easily intimidated by people who are senior to you in a company. This role will collaborate with leaders across departments to deliver on our revenue goals and should be ready to work with colleagues of all levels, pushing for your ideas that you believe in no matter the CVs at the table.

You likely won’t be a good fit if you glaze over when it comes to numbers and data. This role needs to drive informed hypotheses and next steps to build a scalable and sustainable marketing funnel. That requirement means you need to be comfortable and fluent in basic data concepts like sample size and statistical significance as well as question the why behind the data.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive high quality lead generation.
  • Utilize your allocated budget and work closely with leadership to ensure the best course of action on regional spend.
  • Utilize marketing automation tools to create and manage email marketing campaigns and lead nurturing programs.
  • Report on key metrics like campaign ROI, cost-per lead, monthly and quarterly targets, and revenue expectations for your region.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Work with the content marketing team to craft search engine optimized content specific to your region.
  • Work closely with the Product Marketing team to develop the best GTM strategy and product messaging specific to your region.
  • Stay on top of the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance Outpost24's digital presence.
  • Lead GTM for your region, collaborating with sales to ensure customer messages are clearly articulated.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Digital Marketing Manager or similar role in the cybersecurity or technology industry, marketing to a UK audience.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies, tactics, and best practices such as PPC advertising, ABM, event management, and telemarketing campaigns.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and web analytics tools.
  • Experience with lead generation and nurturing campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a strong attention to detail.
  • A passion for cybersecurity and a desire to contribute to the protection of digital assets.

But what's in it for you?

In return for your efforts, we will offer you:

  • The exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced international environment and gain hands-on international experience.
  • A comprehensive set of tools, training, and coaching on the job (e.g., LinkedIn Learning).
  • Great in-house development opportunities.
  • A healthy work-life balance, which means you can enjoy flexible working hours.
  • An organizational culture founded on trust, respect, adaptability, and commitment, where your personal and professional development will be emphasized.
