The Role...
The aim of this role is to develop, mentor, and motivate our bootcamp learners to become the digital leaders of the future. As an Digital Marketing / IT Skills Coach, you'll be responsible for delivering technical training for our Skills Bootcamp progrmmes. This involves training in online sessions.
You will work within our esteemed bootcamp program, shaping the next generation of digital leaders by equipping our learners with the very latest technical knowledge and IT and Marketing skills.
We expect all staff to conduct themselves in a manner that promotes great customer service to build a long-standing relationship. The role will include some regional travel to meet the needs of our business requirements.

You will know your learners on an individual level to be able to develop and progress their careers. Aiming not only for learners to pass their apprenticeship but to be setting high professional standards. You will act as an inspirational role model for what they can become.

Key Tasks &Accountabilities:
- To advise, guide and assist learners through the bootcamp
- Managing a case load of learners across a range of clients
- Take overall responsibility for each learners journey, their progression and provide pastoral care
- Improve and update teaching resources to meet developing need
- Adapt mentoring/coaching style to meet the broad range of learning needs, including those with additional learning needs
- Maintain appropriate tracking systems and follow procedures relating to quality, compliance, management, and assessment in line with the Standard and all other regulatory requirements
- Maintain professional knowledge to support in professional development
- To embed British Values, Equality and Diversity and Health and Safety into all programme delivery
- Meet KPIs, including timely completions and effective project submissions
Essential Qualifications and Knowledge:
- Full, clean driving license with own personal transport
- Team player
- Excellent communicator
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication
- Highly motivated, persuasive, persistent and patient
- Professional, have a mature personality and be able to gain people’s confidence and put them to ease
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics
Desirable Qualifications and Knowledge
- Previous experience of assessing or mentoring in Boot Camps or Apprenticeships or Commercial setting (Digital Marketer Standard, Digital Marketing Framework)
- Relevant IT qualification
- Ability and proven experience of presenting technical training courses
- Mentor/Assessing Qualification
- Teaching Qualification/PTLLS
- Engaging Delivery Style
- Experience of supporting learners remotely via Zoom/Microsoft Teams

This role is hybrid with the expectation to be on-site in the office at Pride Park, Derby, at least 2 times per month.
