Our client is a Kingston based supplier of event technology and print services globally. They are now looking for an Events Technician to join their growing team.
Salary: £34000 on-target earnings (£30000 basic p.a. + bonus)
The Role
The role of Digital Print Production Manager is an important part of our client’s service delivery. Joining the production team, the successful applicant will balance both customer-facing and production tasks, and will be able to see their work making a direct impact on the success of the business.
You will take briefs for client projects from the Account Director, print production colleagues as well as directly from customers. You will need to outline and record the requirements of the job, and then take the job into production and despatch.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated quick learner who is:
- highly organised – able to manage several projects at a time efficiently and clearly systematic in their approach
- is comfortable talking with and writing to customers in a professional manner
- keen to take on responsibilities, with a positive approach
- works well to deadlines
- enjoys working hands-on with graphics and print
- has strong IT skills and technical problem solving ability
- likes to be busy
- Is capable of identifying and starting tasks that would help the team
- has a positive approach to their work
The Person
- A higher-level qualification in an IT discipline or equivalent commercial experience within a technical role
- 12 months or more work experience
- Candidates must be competent in using database systems, e.g. able to write SQL queries
- Presentable with strong customer facing skills and clear communication
- Organised and disciplined approach to work
- UK driving licence
