Flight Itinerary (About The Role)

As a Digital Transformation Leader, you will be instrumental in both the pre-sales and post-sales processes, driving the adoption and integration of modern retailing tools and strategies within our client organizations. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, sales engineering teams, and product management to visualize and implement transformational changes that align FLYR's Offer & Order system with our client's technical eco-system and business processes - as they transition from legacy retailing concepts to modern retailing concepts.

What Your Journey Will Look Like (Responsibilities)

  • Develop and lead strategic plans to transition clients from traditional to modern retailing structures.
  • Engage with prospective clients during the sales process to understand their needs and demonstrate how our solutions can meet their goals.
  • Collaborate with the sales engineering team to ensure accurate and effective presentation of our solutions.
  • Partner with the product management team to align our solutions closely with market needs and client feedback.
  • Oversee the post-sales implementation of our solutions, ensuring they deliver expected results and drive client satisfaction.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in travel retail transformations, providing insights and guidance on industry best practices.
  • Foster innovation within the team, encouraging the adoption of new technologies and methodologies.
  • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing the effectiveness of new implementations and making data-driven recommendations for enhancements.

What To Pack For This Trip (Qualifications)

  • 10+ years of experience in the travel industry, preferably in airline retailing or travel technology.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of both business and technical aspects of retailing in the travel industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and inspire teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a vision for how modern solutions can transform traditional practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field; MBA preferred.
