OVERVIEW:

The Director, EMEA Field Marketing is responsible for leading the field marketing and demand generation programs that support business priorities, including market expansion, pipeline targets and corporate marketing goals. 

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of field marketers and business development representatives (BDRs) across the primary EMEA markets. This role is focused on designing, communicating, monitoring and continually improving integrated marketing campaigns. In conjunction with sales, you will define the regional strategy for generating our sales pipeline and deciding how to propel prospects through the buyer’s journey.

The role requires a natural inclination to measure the effectiveness of marketing and prospecting activities, strong project management skills, passion for working closely with sales, and the ability to think strategically and orchestrate many moving parts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, manage and execute national and regional marketing campaigns and initiatives to drive demand generation and brand awareness
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Outbound teams to define account lists, key personas and messaging
  • Enable and manage a team of seasoned outbound-prospecting BDRs to build a high quality pipeline and deliver on revenue goals.
  • Create content for campaigns that align with corporate campaign themes by teaming with marketing team members
  • Develop multi-channel campaigns to engage target prospects and drive them down the lead acquisition funnel, coordinating business development rep activity and outreach
  • Understand strategic target account priorities and develop account-based marketing (ABM) programs with global campaigns team, as appropriate, including contact acquisition, engagement tactics, nurturing programs and analytics
  • Coordinate regional lead development and prospecting priorities to ensure execution of marketing programs, alignment with sales and generate the required responders and pipeline to maximize SQLs.
  • Participate in regional and national leadership team meetings to provide recommendations for marketing activities based on experience, data analytics and research 
  • Develop and coordinate events including: roadshows, webinars, social networking events, conferences and trade shows
  • Identify and help produce client success stories and public references

Required Skills

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7-10 years of hands-on field marketing experience in EMEA.
  • Proactive management of the field marketing team (consisting of field marketers and BDRs), including mentoring and guiding team members, conducting regular 1:1’s and ensuring effective communications
  • Previous use and strong understanding of sales and marketing automation tools, such as Eloqua and SFDC
  • Previous use of ABM and sales engagement tools and analytics is preferred.
  • Capable of building strong working relationships across all levels of the company, especially with remote teams
  • Proven success with planning and execution of marketing campaigns
  • Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, project management and decision-making skills
Required Experience
  • 10+ years enterprise product marketing experience in a software or technology company, preferably within a B2B enterprise and with channel experience
  • Advanced degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred
  • Proven track record developing and executing metrics-driven go-to-market plans for a product or solution portfolio in partnership with cross-functional teams spanning product management, product development, marketing and sales
  • Familiar with marketing automation tools and power user of networking tools such as LinkedIn.
  • Exceptional analytical and ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is –or isn’t—working
  • Strong ability to take initiative, collaborate and drive results through a global team
  • Must be a strong public speaker, comfortable in front of large, senior groups, and a solid writer
  • Experience working in a B2B sales driven organization
  • Ability to travel as needed.
