The International policy practice works with global healthcare companies and organisations to help them drive meaningful impact through their policy and public affairs programmes. Our work includes global policy landscaping, policy and public affairs strategy and narrative development, policy research and report writing, global policy engagement and advocacy coalition building and capability development for different policy teams. We also provide expert advice on global health engagement and support the delivery of global health events and collaborations.
We are currently looking for a senior global health policy expert and leader to join our fast-growing international team as a director. This is an exciting role in a dynamic consultancy team, working with a range of health industry clients to drive new collaborations in global health and engage key country governments on issues such as climate and health, funding for NCDs including mental health, sustainability and health equity. We are looking for someone with 10+ years experience in healthcare policy ideally with some background in consultancy, who has worked with global health institutions and organisations to shape disease and health system policies and regulations.
This role will require you to:
- Provide relevant policy intelligence and insights with the team and clients drawn from your external networks and deep policy understanding
- As an established leader in healthcare policy, use your profile to engage stakeholder and prospective clients through thought leadership and expert analysis on key topics
- Guide the strategic direction of client programmes drawing on your career experience and policy insights
- Work with client teams to oversee the delivery of high-quality work and policy advice
- Set junior colleagues up for success and support their ongoing learning and development
- Grow existing client programmes by highlight opportunities for clients to reach and exceed their goals
- Take a leading role in growing the international practice by identifying and bringing in new client programmes
- Guide company strategy and decision making through the Senior Leadership Group
- Build relationships with other agencies in the Inizio Evoke group for joint client, marketing and business development opportunities
- Lead and promote company workstreams, enabling the inclusion and participation of colleagues in key areas of business operations
