You will be play a pivotal role in driving the transformation and delivering world-class data and analytics capabilities across the UK.

As the Director of Analytics, you will be responsible for aligning the data and insight roadmap & strategy to the wide business goals and strategic plan. You will be leading a high-achieving team of data and insight experts, delivering valuable insights, visulisations, and advanced analytical capabilities to support efficiency and growth. You will be championing new ways of working, incorporating data in to day to day, and big decision making – with the goal for it be at the center and for it to underpin all future strategy.

  • Significant involvement and input to the enterprise data strategy – leading the future planning and goals for data & insight
  • Champion insights, storytelling, visualisations and use of data across the business – encouraging stakeholders to adopt data driven decision making
  • Collaborate with the wider business to understand and translate data requirements
  • Providing expert technical support and best practice across all areas of data, analytics and insight
  • Providing world class leadership and coaching to the analytics & insight tem

Who do they need?

  • Industry leading technical experience across reporting & data visulisation / dashboarding, deep-dive and advanced analytics and data science
  • Be incredibly commercially focused and savvy – ability to think strategically, create plans, roadmaps, set goals, monitor and evaluate progress and review.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, flexible environment and have the ability to modify plans and roadmaps as needed
  • Advanced knowledge of coding languages such as SQL, Python and R
  • Advanced knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI and Tableau
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies
  • Experience leading and developing technical and commercial teams at all levels - encouraging development and learning
  • Proven track record of building relationships with senior stakeholders, and have the ability to present complex and technical information in a concise manner
