POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a visionary Director of Digital Marketing & Customer Experience with a strong and demonstrable background in shaping digital strategy and optimising customer engagement whilst driving sustainable profit growth.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, digital first marketing strategy and marketing initiatives that align with the company’s overall objectives, aligning systems to support business objectives, and leveraging technology to enhance customer engagement.
  • Take ownership of rebuild and ongoing management of the website and e-commerce experience, developing and implementing a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to drive online sales and revenue growth.
  • Us customer insight, data and analysis to develop a clear, commercial marketing and brand strategy, identifying market opportunities to grow revenue and profit, maintaining budgets and forecasts.


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

To be considered for this role it is essential that you can demonstrate a proven track record of successful in operating in a senior leadership capacity within a multi-site leisure, hospitality or retail business, developing and delivering a digitally enabled, first-class customer experience.

  • Experience in developing and managing e-commerce strategies for high-revenue websites.
  • A truly commercial marketer with a holistic business view and track record of leveraging marketing initiatives to generate measurable business results and drive revenue.
  • Ability to set customer vision for the organisation and drive the expansion of all customer segments and products.
  • Extensive experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing strategies.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, measure marketing effectiveness, and deliver on strategic goals.
  • A high EQ is essential here as great leadership is required to create effective relationships and communication, both internally and externally.
  • Customer and data centric; commercial but with a creative flair.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience leading marketing teams and fostering a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented work culture.
  • Low ego. You’ll be a strong influencer and a compelling communicator who is flexible and open to ideas whilst remaining confident and resilient.
