12 Month FTC



£80,000/£95,000 circa benefits



London based (hybrid working 2 days per week on average in the office)



Alexander Lloyd Senior Finance are delighted to be retained in partnering a Charity based in central London with the key appointment of a Director of Finance on a 12 month FTC (potential for contract to perm for the right candidate)



The Finance and Resources Team is central to the charity's operation and in its mission to provide charitable support to all of its members. You will lead the Finance Team of four accountants and steer other aspects of resource management. You and the team are responsible for the financial soundness of the processes around the charity's investments and spending. Much of the work, in accounting terms, is to lead and consolidate delegated day-to-day work. You will be accountable day to day to the Director, but also work to its (non-executive) Advisory Panel, Board and Audit Committee.



Playing a pivotal role within the SMT you will liaise daily with senior stakeholders such as head of departments, non execs, audit committee and you will partner the CEO offering sound strategic finance support around news initiatives and current finance health of the charity.



We are seeking a qualified candidate who has operated at Director level for a number of years within a charity/not for profit organisation, candidates from a /Military/Armed forces background would also be of interest. You will have the ability to oversee and manage an asset base of circa £400m with charity law, governance experience.
