About The Team:

AlphaSense Marketing is a revenue focused marketing team that encompasses demand generation, product marketing, corporate communications, PR / AR, brand, customer marketing, content marketing, and events. At our core, we’re here to support AlphaSense’s growth, which we do by contributing to pipeline and revenue; developing a brand that’s widely known to the markets we serve; and encouraging user engagement both within our product and with our brand.

About The Role:

AlphaSense is looking for an ambitious, highly innovative, and experienced marketing generalist to serve as our EMEA Marketing Director. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who maintains a balance between setting a strategic vision for marketing that will support the region and execute at a high quality and rapid pace. As the first in-region marketing hire, you will be responsible for building the playbook and eventually once proven successful, hiring a team of talented marketers to deploy the playbook across regions. You should have strong EMEA marketing experience executing and delivering successful demand generation campaigns, field marketing events, and providing general in-region marketing support, preferably in a B2B SaaS company. You have a quantifiable track record of success with a strong focus on making a meaningful contribution to the business, careful measurement, and delivering ROI. You aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and build campaigns yourself. You are a great collaborator and will work closely with Marketing, SDR and Sales teams to generate programs that drive net new lead acquisition as well as customer expansion, creating high quality sales-ready leads that ultimately convert into pipeline and closed-won revenue.

This role reports to the VP of Demand Generation.

Who You Are:

  • 6-8 years of experience across marketing channels like demand generation, field/event marketing, account-based marketing, web marketing, public relations, measurement and analytics, and brand.
  • Demonstrated results in lead acquisition, pipeline generation, and opportunity acceleration.
  • B2B SaaS background preferred and experience working with organizations that have scaled programs globally.
  • Experience managing teams of marketers with diverse skillsets working to deploy campaigns across the region in localized languages. Must have experience in hiring, coaching and managing a marketing team to be their best.
  • Strong track record of performance analytics and making data driven decisions to continually optimize and drive pipeline and revenue.
  • Proficiency in Marketo and Salesforce.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop, own and execute AlphaSense’s regional marketing strategy, team, and results.
  • In coordination with the North America marketing team, localize and execute PR/communications, advertising, demand generation, event marketing, and social media campaigns to support regions.
  • Develop a range of marketing programs to support net new logo acquisition, 1 to few campaigns for new and existing key accounts as well as upsell campaigns for existing customers.
  • Partner with regional sales leadership to build a unified go to market plan and strategy.
  • Drive integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns and field events to deliver qualified leads that convert to revenue.
  • Regularly provide reporting and actively monitor/analyze the health of marketing’s contribution to lead acquisition, sales-ready lead creation, conversion rates, pipeline, revenue and customer expansion.
  • Once the regional marketing playbook has been established and proven successful, you’ll hire and build a team of well-rounded marketers to regionalize campaigns, break into new geographies, localize content, and support AlphaSense’s international sales organization.
