The Role:
Generate is seeking an experienced and innovative Associate Director of Protein Analytics to join our growing team. She/he will contribute to the development of our drug discovery platform and to the advancement of our therapeutic pipeline. Reporting into the Head of Protein Sciences, the Associate Director of Protein Analytics will be responsible for building and managing a team of scientists performing analytical characterization of therapeutic drug candidates across a range of different protein modalities. The ideal candidate will have proven track record in performing and managing early and late-stage physiochemical analysis of biologics including monoclonal antibodies, bi/multi-specifics, peptides, and enzymes in a Pharma or Biotech setting. She/ he will have demonstrated prior hands-on experience with methods such as HPLC/UPLC based methods (SEC, RP, HIC), light scattering (SEC-MALS, DLS), thermal stability (DSF, DSC), capillary electrophoresis-based methods (CE-SDS, cIEF) and mass spectrometry. She/he will provide leadership within project teams to facilitate project advancement and data feedback to our machine learning platform.
