Belmond is looking for a Director of Sales to join our team at The Cadogan Hotel in London. As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales efforts for the hotel. This is a strategic role that requires a strong background in sales, a deep understanding of the luxury travel industry, and the ability to drive revenue growth.

About the Role

As the Director of Sales for The Cadogan Hotel, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales and events sales professionals and driving revenue growth. You will develop and execute sales strategies, establish relationships with key clients and partners, and monitor and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth. You will work closely with other departments, such as marketing and revenue management, to ensure alignment and maximize sales potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the sales and events sales team, including hiring, training, and performance management
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners
  • Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and maximize sales potential
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the luxury travel industry
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners
  • Analytical mindset and ability to interpret sales data
  • Knowledge of the luxury travel industry and its trends
  • Flexibility to travel as required
