A day in the life of…

As a Director of Sales & Marketing, you will produce a commercial plan that interprets business objectives and maps out the actions and strategies to support the positioning of the hotel. Reporting into the General Manager, you will drive the strategic sales plan across the business and establish new business through a variety of activities. You will be responsible for establishing new opportunities within the marketplace, promoting awareness of the business and increasing visibility on both a national and international level. Utilising this intelligence, you will develop strategic plans and ensure the hotel remains competitive in the marketplace.

Based in the Hotel Indigo Manchester you will be part of a team of passionate people who know that being the best doesn’t always mean working around the clock.

What do we need from you?

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in the capacity of a Sales Manager (Hospitality). As the commercial expert for this hotel, you will be able to comfortably discuss business performance and make informed decisions/recommendations at a senior level. We do business on an international stage and so a willingness to travel at a regional, national and international level is required.

This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with the senior management team both on and above property and upskilling the team to ensure we maximise revenue at every opportunity.
