We are looking for a transformational and collaborative Director of Technical Strategy to join our European team and drive our technology innovation and customer engagement. You will be responsible for collaborating with our research and development, engineering, and product teams and ensuring that we deliver ground breaking solutions for our customers in Europe. You will also drive and manage innovation projects with our strategic customers in the European market and deliver helpful solutions and services. You will establish and maintain strong relationship with key collaborators, partners and customers and identify new opportunities and markets. As the Director of Technical Strategy, you will join the team that owns the innovation and challenges the status quo in the industryRole and Responsibilities
Your Key Responsibilities:
Communicate and align the company's technology vision and strategy with the business goals and objectives
Collaborate and coordinate with the research and development, engineering, and product teams and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence local and global level
Drive and manage innovation projects with key customers in the European market and deliver valuable solutions and services
Support the presales activities and processes and ensure that the solutions are aligned with the customer requirements and expectations
Prepare and present technical proposals, demonstrations, and proofs of concept to the customers and partners
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key collaborators, partners, and clients in the industry and identify new opportunities and markets
Monitor and assess the technology trends and developments in the industry and anticipate the future needs and challenges
Provide local customer inputs and feedback to the headquarters and the research and development teams and ensure that the solutions meet the customer needs and expectations
Ensure that the company's technology standards, policies, and practices align with the regulatory and ethical requirements in the European market
Skills and Qualifications
What we need for this role
Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or related field
Proven experience as a CTO or in a similar senior technology leadership role in ICT industry
Extensive knowledge and expertise in network technologies, architectures, protocols, and standards, such as 5G, RAN, IoT, etc.
Strong understanding of the telecommunications industry landscape, challenges, and opportunities in the European market
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
Strategic, analytical, and creative thinking and problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions and judgments
Hardworking, driven, and transformational leader and great teammate and the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor others
