If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!About the Role: As our Disability Support Worker, you’ll work closely across Chorley, South Ribble and West Lancashire with adults with a range of disabilities, providing practical assistance and guidance to enable more control and independence in their lives.Your role will involve teaching essential daily living skills, such as shopping, food preparation, cooking, and independent travel. You’ll be part of a dedicated team working Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm, collaborating with Enablement Locality Organisers, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, and other partners.This is a key role, as part of a period of growth within our Adult Disability Enablement Team, where you will be witnessing a person's life change from the support you provide, with a supportive team whose values are aligned. Therefore, this role would suit candidates who have experience with Adults with Disabilities and/or SEND Social Care, as a Support Worker or similar role, looking to enhance their career further. Flexibility: Be adaptable and responsive to changing business demands, covering various geographical areas within Chorley, South Ribble, West Lancashire and beyond.
