Leading Insurance Broker seeking a Disputes Counsel on an initial 14 month maternity cover fixed term contract. Potential opportunity that this role goes permanent at the end of the contract.
You will join a supportive and collegiate disputes team, reporting to the Senior Counsel. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing disputes against the company, representing in court where necessary and advancing expertise on Errors and Omissions claims across the function.
The successful candidate will be a U.K. qualified lawyer, working in private practice and/or In-House currently within Insurance . My client is looking for someone with strong professional indemnity disputes experience, as well as knowledge of FCA regulations.
My client will consider both interim and permanent candidates for this role, and is happy to wait for the right person. You will need to be eligible to work in the U.K.
Hybrid working on offer (2-3 days in the office in Manchester) with occasional travel to London where necessary. Additional benefits package including bonus.
