Construction Solicitor (Contentious) - Edinburgh

Are you a junior construction/disputes solicitor? Or an NQ solicitor with a construction seat interested in a new challenge? Hunter Savage is currently partnering with this leading Scottish law firm to recruit a construction solicitor to work in their leading team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading team that has a very busy and broad practice with a particular focus on energy but advises across a range of areas to include infrastructure, oil & gas, renewables tc. This role would suit a solicitor NQ to 3 years.

The Role

Working as part of this talented team the successful applicant will get the opportunity to work on a broad range of multi-jurisdictional disputes across a range of areas to include energy, infrastructure. engineering, utilities, oil & gas, renewables, procurement disputes, professional negligence etc.

The Person

Ideally you will meet the following criteria;

- Qualified Solicitor - NQ to 3 years PQE

- Ideally you will have some experience of construction disputes or experience of dealing with professional negligence matter

- Very strong NQ's with solid commercial litigation will also be considered

- Client first approach with strong communication skills and an ability to effectively develop strong client relationships

- Highly organised with an ability to deal with a very busy caseload
