Job Description
As Divisional Communications Manager for Belmond Trains & Cruises, you are part of a team responsible for the coordination and implementation of the communication strategy for Belmond’s portfolio of trains and cruises worldwide. In this role, you will help develop brand awareness through storytelling, resulting in press coverage and social media visibility. Based at the Trains & Cruises Central Office in London, and reporting to the Divisional Director of Brand & Marketing, this is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual with a passion for excellence and storytelling in travel, a strong cultural awareness and an unswerving approach to maintaining standards. Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Devising and planning the communications strategy for the Trains & Cruises portfolio.
- Working closely with the Global Communications team to develop and execute the trains and cruises communication plans that support global and divisional business goals.
- Developing a strong network of brand advocates (KOL, press, tastemakers, partners).
- Hosting media events and press trips, both in the UK and internationally when required, in coordination with the Global Corporate Communications Team and international PR agencies.
- Writing and producing press releases and media pitch documents, including media centre/press pack information and updates.
Requirements
What You Bring:
- At least five years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in the luxury hospitality sector.
- Expertise in managing agencies, including partnership coordination, strategic direction, contract negotiation and collaborative results delivery.
- Proven track record in developing and executing global PR strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to be innovative and creative, with exceptional communication and administrative skills.
- Extensive experience in cultivating media and influencer relationships for coverage.
