Operating across multiple branches in the UK, Crouch Waterfall is a forward thinking Civil, Structural and Geotechnical Engineering Consultancy. Established since 1981, the business has enjoyed steady growth driven by a committed and highly skilled workforce of 100 employees.
As a Document Controller, you’ll join the close-knit team within the welcoming and relaxed Leeds office, working across a wide variety of schemes including bridges, structures and temporary works, within rail, nuclear and building sectors.
Responsibilities Include:
- Managing the control of documents and all incoming correspondence
- Create and maintain document registers/ job trackers
- Request and manage document numbers
- Identify and rectify discrepancies in document titles, reference numbers and revisions
- Formatting documents using client templates
- Distribute comments and all correspondence to and from the client
- Liaising/coordinating with internal staff and external clients
- Receive, upload and issue documents and drawings in line with project timescales
- Creating new job files
- Preparation of monthly payment applications
Experience & Skills Required:
- Experience in a similar role is essential, ideally within the engineering/ construction industry
- Experience in working with Common Data Environment Systems(CDE) such as Business Collaborator, ProjectWise or similar
- Organisation and planning skills
- Able to work well under pressure, prioritise work load effectively and meet deadlines
- Strong IT (Microsoft Office Suite) Excel is essential
- Effective communication skills
- Able to work collaboratively across a remote team

You’ll be employed on a permanent contract, working 40 hours per week. There is flexibility with start and finish times available however, the core working hours are Monday to Friday 9.30am to 4.30pm.
