Draftsperson
Location: Aberdeen
Full time Staff Position
Looking for a Draughtsperson to join the Aberdeen office based Engineering department: a working environment consisting of highly skilled and enthusiastic employees. If you have recently graduated within the field of Engineering and are a motivated individual who is seeking a career within the energy industry this could be the perfect role for you.
As a Draughtsperson you will play an important role in supporting the Engineering Function by producing high-quality drawings in compliance with our internal processes and relevant industry standards. You will be responsible for reviewing and checking of technical drawings for accuracy and assist in improving the drawing office library and standardised drawings. The position would suit someone who is willing to learn on the job and contribute to the success of our business.

Requirements:
- NC / HNC Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Good knowledge of Autodesk Products such as AutoCAD, Inventor and Vault
- Additional AutoCAD courses considered
- 5 Grade B or above in Maths, English, Science and Graphic Communication
- Good communication and interaction skills; fluent in English (both written and verbal)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Packages
- Relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education
- Day to day you will be reporting to the Drawing Office Manager and functionally you will report to the Engineering Manager.
