Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in transforming and enhancing business operations within a dynamic and growing environment? We are seeking a highly skilled Dynamics 365 Finance Specialist to join a thriving IT team. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to be at the forefront of system implementation, configuration, and support during a key period of growth and systems evolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Analyst for P2P/O2C Processes: Act as the lead analyst in all Procure to Pay (P2P) and/or Order to Cash (O2C) processes, supporting Procurement, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury shared service functions. Work closely with individual business owners across the Group.
  • Testing and Configuration: Lead the project team in all aspects of system testing, including configuration and environment setup. Create test plans, agree on test cycles, report test execution results, and manage business approval for UAT entry and exit criteria.
  • Gap Analysis and Solutions: Conduct gap analyses between business requirements and system capabilities. Propose appropriate solutions or customizations to meet business needs.
  • Cutover Processes and Data Migration: Support the project team with all P2P and/or O2C related cutover processes and data migration requirements for future go-lives, in line with the strategic plan.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support for new and existing finance system users. Offer ad-hoc user support as a key member of the IT team.
  • Process Documentation: Maintain and update process documentation, ensuring changes are agreed upon with relevant business stakeholders and process owners.
  • Staying Current: Stay abreast of new features and functionalities within Dynamics 365 Finance, evaluating their potential impact on business processes.

Success Metrics:

  • Ability to adapt to a variety of activities, from analysis and design through to testing and system troubleshooting.
  • Ensuring the successful operation of finance processes across existing businesses and facilitating the adoption of these processes in newly acquired entities.
  • Production of clear and concise written documentation that is understood by all stakeholders.
  • Contribution to building a collaborative, innovative, and supportive environment within the Dynamics 365 Finance project team and the wider IT team.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • In-depth experience with Dynamics 365 Finance.
  • Expertise in system testing and change management.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with users across finance and operations teams, as well as IT colleagues.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and system delivery.
  • Experience in a Microsoft-centric technical environment, including Azure deployed services and Windows-based platforms.
