Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and dynamic economics lessons to students in accordance with the curriculum
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to individual learning needs and styles
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and encourages academic growth
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive approach to education
- Attend departmental meetings and actively contribute to the ongoing improvement of the economics program
- Stay up to date with educational best practices and industry developments to enhance teaching methods and content delivery
- Bachelor's degree in Economics or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience in teaching Economics at the primary or secondary level
- Thorough knowledge of the economics curriculum and assessment methods
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and inspire students
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- A passion for education and a commitment to ensuring the success of all students
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues
