What you will do

As an Account Manager, you will

  • strong relationships across a complex portfolio of software solutions, with senior stakeholders within Universities.
  • andtake responsibility for of a large number of HE customers to provide high levels of customer communication and responsiveness.
  • Manage the sales cycle from initial opportunity through to close and renewals.
  • With support from our product solution specialist, proactively close opportunities within the existing customer base to achieve individual revenue targets
  • Maintain and develop accurate sales forecasts
  • Develop and maintain account activity and account plans to monitor customer health.

What you will have

  • Substantial Experience working with or within Higher Education organisations
  • An understanding of the operational complexities of universities (i.e. curriculum, support, regulations, governance, funding etc), to help articulate the value of our HE portfolio:
  • Procurement Software
  • Finance System and Spend Management
  • Performance and Talent Management
  • Meeting and Risk Management
  • Apprenticeship ePortfolio and ILR Management (Smart Assessor & PICs)
  • Time and Attendance Management
  • Account Managers will have strong negotiation and closing skills
  • A proven track-record of success sales within a complex client portfolio, or significant evidence of successfully delivering complex projects on time.
  • Effective communication and time management skills

Successful candidates will participate in a one-month intensive boot camp to learn about our products, markets, and commercial strategy. The role is supported by technical solution specialists. The primary focus of the role is to forge meaningful partnerships with our customers in order to support their world of work.
