Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:
Working closely with a range of blue chip clients across industry sectors including Pharma, Automotive, Aerospace amongst others. Cutting edge R&D applications.
⦁ Full project lifecycle from costing to commissioning.
⦁ The design of control systems and instrumentation.
⦁ Identification and selection of electrical equipment.
⦁ Solving electrical design challenges.
⦁ Hands on system testing.
⦁ Working on multiple projects both independently and as part of a team.
Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:
⦁ HNC/HND/Degree qualification and prior experience in electrical design.
⦁ Experience of EPLAN or SolidWorks Electrical desirable.
⦁ A keen interest in electrical design, instrumentation, machinery safety and control.
⦁ A desire to learn and keen apply your knowledge to new areas.
⦁ Ideally have a good working knowledge of the low voltage directive or machinery directive.
⦁ The ability to see projects through from conception to completion.
Located in Derbyshire, this role would be commutable from Loughborough, Burton upon Trent, Uttoxeter, Nottingham and Derby.
