Electrical Design Engineer Job In Bristol

We are working with a global market-leading Multidisciplinary consultancy who specialise in sustainable design across the building services sector. They are now looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join them in their Bristol office.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical services design for significant projects and oversee MEP aspects for smaller to medium-sized projects.
• Manage client interactions and ensure their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Define project briefs with clients, represent our client's interests at meetings, and manage project team workloads.
• Host internal project team meetings, delegate tasks effectively, and contribute to team members' professional development.
• Ensure project outputs meet high-quality standards and technical accuracy, while also monitoring project expenditure.

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong technical knowledge in Electrical Design Engineering and Building Services Engineering.
• Previous consultancy experience preferred, with an appreciation for complementary specialisms such as acoustics and fire engineering.
• Ability to lead projects independently while also contributing to large-scale projects.
• Client-focused with effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in resource management, including identifying outsourcing needs and assessing team resources.
• Experience mentoring junior staff members and fostering their professional growth.
• Ideally Chartered engineer status or working towards it, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development.
