Job Description

Our client is looking for an Electrical & Instrument Design Engineer to join their thriving consultancy to support with E&I design contracts ranging from £5k smalls scopes such as IS calcs and diagrams for lighting design and relocating power supplies up to £750k design costs for detailed switchgear design.

They have a team of 20-25 engineers across civil, mechanical and EC&I disciplines working on Petroleum, Chemical & LPG sector contracts from there Redcar office All engineers work from the office.

39 hours per week
- Monday-Friday.

Office hours flex up between 7am and 530pm.

Most opt to work longer shifts Monday-Thursday and finish early on a Friday (around 1pm) but you can choose the hours that fit your week best.

Ideally you will have the following experience: HNC / HND Electrical & Instrument Minimum 5 Years Experience Minimum Petrochemical Experience Advantageous Development of SLD s, BCD S, Terminations, Hook Ups, GA s, Schedules AutoCAD proficient, MS Packages (Word, Excel) E&I Services The company typically design, select & install in both hazardous and safe area environments of the following equipment HV Switchgear HV/LV Transformers Emergency generators Motor Control Centres (DOL / Soft Start / Inverter) Master Switchboards Local Distribution Boards In addition, they provide full plant instrumentation solutions as follows: Line instrumentation Control Systems (PLC or DCS) ESD Systems (Relay or High integrity PLC) Fire & Gas Detection Systems Building Fire Alarm Panels UPS Cathodic Protection Systems Salary : £70,000 per annum No remote working available EC&I Partners is acting as an employment agency and recruitment business
