Job Description
A leading manufacturing and production company in the Ipswich area are looking for a permanent Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their facility.

Working Monday to Friday, 6am to 2.30pm, you will be working within a team responsible for the maintenance of the company's machinery.
Duties: Ensure routine planned maintenance on all company machinery and equipment, including fault finding, problem solving and minor repairs to minimize down time is completed.
Carry out a programme of planned preventive maintenance for all company buildings and utilities.
Complete electrical installation of plant and equipment in accordance with BS767.
Carry out reactive maintenance when required and work to changing priorities.
Report problems and/or unsafe practices to relevant Supervisor and Health and Safety Manager, together with any recommendations for improvements.
Carrying out and support continuous improvement activities.
Complete daily, weekly and monthly health & safety checks and inspections, taking timely corrective actions.
Work on, or assist with mechanical maintenance work, ensuring accurate recording of information.
Comply with Health & Safety legislation, company insurance and ISO requirements, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all maintenance logs.
Ensure full and timely reporting of all major breakdowns, significant problems, repair requirements, delays or machine down time to relevant personnel.To be considered for this exciting Electrical Maintenance Engineer role, you will need the following experience: Previous experience within an Electrical Maintenance Engineer role.
NVQ level 3 or HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
17th or 18th edition and IOSH.
Experience with PLC control systems and relay control systems.
