Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Electro Mechanical Bench Fitter to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will work within both on-site and workshop environments, diagnosing failures, conducting measurements, dismantling and assembling components, and ensuring the precision fitting of parts. Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting on-site and workshop-based electro-mechanical tasks
- Diagnosing reasons for equipment failure
- Precision measurement using Micrometers, Verniers, etc.
- Dismantling and assembling components
- Knowledge of 'limits & fits'
- Removal and fitting of precision components
- Advantageous to have knowledge of rotating machines
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience in an electro-mechanical role
- Proficiency in general bench fitting duties
- Ability to dismantle and repair rotating machines, electric motors, pumps, and gearboxes
- Experience with calipers, verniers, etc.
- Hardworking and enthusiastic with a drive to succeed
- Flexibility to work overtime at short notice
- Valid driving license
