Join Our Team as an SSE Electromechanical Technician!
We're seeking a SSE Electromechanical Technician to become a vital part of our team based in Faslane, Helensburgh, Scotland.

What You'll Do:
- tasks in a highly prescriptive environment to support Submarine and shore-based systems and equipment.
- as a fully integrated member of the Launcher Surface Support Equipment team. This may involve travel to other UK and USA sites.
- alongside technicians and engineers in corrective / preventative maintenance and load testing of lifting equipment.
- to support occasional overtime and on-call periods.
- training and maintain a Professional Development Record.
- to become qualified as an instructor depending on training, exposure, and experience.
- of overhead crane, Forklift Trucks, Scissor-Lift, Cherry Picker, including working at height.
- blast and paint spray operations
- adherence to all Health and Safety protocols
The successful candidate must be capable of achieving the appropriate level of security clearance.
Skills required :
- "hands-on" mechanical background, ready to tackle any challenge head-on.
- in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) to streamline tasks and communication.
- mentality, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and task completion.
- interpersonal skills, essential for effective communication with diverse groups.
- self-motivated, and committed to exceeding expectations in all responsibilities.
