Electronic Design Engineer (Power Systems / Renewables)
£60,000 - £70,000 + Relocation Allowance + Benefits

Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with Power Systems experience looking to be recognised as a go-to specialist, in a highly autonomous and technically challenging role with the opportunity to manage your own team whilst working on a multitude of high value projects?
As the go-to Principal Design engineer, you will commission projects, develop design calculations, manage your team's productivity, and liaise with clients and contractors. Based in Gateshead, you will manage the design team of an expanding business working at the forefront of renewable and power systems technologies.
This company manufacture and design specialist power systems and energy solutions working with a variety of commercial industries. They are a trusted contractor of the military, collaborating closely with them on a range of vitally important projects. Off the back of recent success, they are expanding their manufacturing division into the forefront of renewable technologies.
This role would suit a Power Systems Design Engineer or similar from an energy background, who is looking for the opportunity to manage their own team within a market leading business that is enduring exponential growth whilst also working at the forefront of renewable and power systems technology.
The Role:
Produce design drawings, commissioning power systems, technical appraisals
PLECS and CADSTAR system simulation
Compliance and Quality testing
Monday to Thursday, 8:30am - 5:00pm , 8:30am - 2pm on Friday, 40hrs a week
